
Suzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 - - January 19th 2007) was an American film, theatre television, and voice actress. 1 Pleshette started her professional career in the theater and started appearing in films towards the end of the 1950s and later appeared in films with a prominent name such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). From 1972 until 1978, Pleshette was a regular guest on various television productions. She also played Emily Hartley, which earned her several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City, on January 31 1937. Her parents were Jewish parents of immigrants from Russia or Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer. Her father was a stage manager at the Paramount Theater in Manhattan as well as the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
