Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota is a journalist writer, author and anchor for CNN's morning show "New Day." She is a resident of Westport, CT, and was appointed to the Westport Country Playhouse's Board trustees. Camerota's three decades of journalism has seen her write stories across the country and abroad. Furthermore, she was awarded her the Edward R. Murrow Award as well as an Emmy Award. Johnna G. Torsone from Stamford is now an honorary member of the board after being on the board since more than seven year. Anna Czekaj Farber, who currently serves as chair of the Westport board after having served as a board member since 2013, also an incoming board member. Czekaj Farber will replace Barbara Streicker from Westport who was chair of the board during the last year, and was in that position since 2006.
